What did the black population want in the new constitution?
Due to the opposition of black people in Africa, a new constitution was created in Africa. In this constitution, such black people wanted that by ending the enmity that has historically been with each other, everyone should live equally in a common society except apartheid. Black people wanted that they could get the same rights as the people themselves. They should not be shown any kind of humiliation and inferiority to white people. All those people should be seen as an equal. The constitution was enacted on 26 April 1994 when South Africa was established as a republic. Since then, respect was given to all people there and all black people got the same rights as white people. National Mandela, the black man who made his biggest contribution in this struggle, was made the first President of this country.
